⏲️ Multi Timer

Run as many named countdown timers as you need at the same time. Each timer rings independently with a sound alarm and desktop notification — no app required.

Private by design. This tool runs entirely in your browser — nothing you enter is uploaded, and it works offline.

About

Multi Timer lets you run any number of simultaneous countdown timers directly in your browser, each with its own name, duration, and independent pause/resume/reset controls. It is ideal for scenarios where you need to track multiple overlapping time-sensitive tasks — for example, boiling pasta while a sauce simmers, running back-to-back Pomodoro work blocks, or timing intervals in a workout. When a timer expires it plays a sound alarm and, if you grant permission, fires a desktop notification so you are alerted even if the tab is in the background. All timers run client-side with no server round-trips. Your timers are saved only in this browser's local storage, so they survive a page reload or a closed tab, and nothing is synced to other devices.

How to use

  1. Type a name (e.g. Pasta, Laundry) and click Add Timer to create a new timer.
  2. Set the minutes (0–999) and seconds (0–59) for that timer using the input fields.
  3. The timer starts counting down as soon as you add it. Use Pause and Resume on any card — timers count down independently of each other.
  4. When a timer finishes, an alarm sounds and a desktop notification appears. Click Reset to reuse the timer.
  5. Add as many timers as you need or delete ones you no longer need — there is no limit on the number of timers.

FAQ

How many timers can I run at the same time?
There is no fixed limit. You can add and run as many named timers as you like simultaneously.
Will I get notified if I switch to another tab?
Yes. When a timer finishes, a desktop notification fires even if the tab is in the background — just allow notifications when prompted.
Can I pause a timer and resume it later?
Yes. Each timer has a Pause button that freezes the remaining time. Press Resume to continue from exactly where it left off.
Does the timer keep running if I close the tab?
Your timers are saved in this browser, so they survive a reload or a closed tab. A running timer keeps counting toward its end time while the page is closed. When you reopen the page you see the correct remaining time, and a timer that ended in the meantime shows Done! without sounding the alarm again. The alarm and notification only fire while the page is open, so keep the page open to be alerted.
Is this tool free and does it need an account?
Completely free, no account or login needed. Open the page and start using it immediately.
Does this tool upload my data?
No. Everything runs right in your browser, so your data never leaves your device — it even works offline once the page has loaded.
